A commitment to our communities

Eaton has been part of South Carolina since 1958, building a long-standing presence that has helped strengthen communities across the state. Through continued growth, the company has created opportunities for thousands of families, while its investments in workforce training have helped establish a strong career pipeline for current students and future generations. One example of this is the readySCTM  program. They facilitated a partnership with Spartanburg Technical College to develop a specialized coil-winding training program aligned with Eaton’s specific manufacturing workforce needs.

“Like in any business relationship, what matters is the first impression. And when it came to having discussions with Union County, with the South Carolina Department of Commerce, or with readySC – we had this strong connection from the very beginning.”

Guillaume Laur, Senior Vice President & General Manger, Power Delivery & Regulation Division, Eaton Corp.
